World Record for "The Most People Controlling a Sliothar on a Hurley"

On the first night of our Gathering, we will be setting a world record for "The Most People Controlling a Sliothar on a Hurley"

So we are inviting everyone, young or old to come along and join in the fun. All you need is to bring your own hurley and ball.

So whether you're a budding Setanta or an average ball-hopper, get yourself along to Clarecastle GAA club on Friday evening, July 12th at 7.00pm.

Flora & Fauna of the Fergus Estuary

As part of the Clarecastle Gathering there are organised heritage walks that can suit all.  One of the walks that will take place in the Quay, will be a talk on the Flora and wildlife of the River Fergus and Estuary and an introduction to the Burren-like plants that grow mostly unseen in the area.
